The competition is open to all members of the Club and is aimed to encourage friendly competition between both the novice and experienced exhibitor alike, for the award of Devon & Cornwall Cocker Spaniel of the Year and Devon & Cornwall Cocker Spaniel Puppy of the Year.

The competition started at the Open Show on 7th May 2011 and will finish at the last show before the May Show in 2012 where the presentations will take place.

Points may be gained at shows listed as follows and the addition or removal of shows on this list is up to the discretion of the sub- committee
