Companion Show July 7th 2012

The Club held it's annual Companion Show on Saturday 7th July at our excellent Calverleigh Village Hall venue - this year in support of The Devon Air Ambulance - with high hopes of glorious summer sunshine and crowds in attendance: sadly this year we were blighted by the unseasonal weather, which some would put down to climate change - so the fact that not so many were able to attend might have contributed towards the control of carbon emissions.

That said, the Show did go on and we had a good entry which meant that the Club were able to contribute a not unreasonable sum just over £70.00 to the Charity - and a Cocker winning Best in Show, too.

Next year, watch this space - we have ordered a long and sunny summer!
